AQuora Dye Antibodies Header 3

AQuora Fluorescent Dye Labeled Secondary Antibodies

Fluorescent dye labeled secondary antibodies are valuable in a range of applications including fluorescent western blotting, fluorescent cell-based imaging, and immunofluorescent histochemical applications. Fluorescent labels allow for multiplexing the detection of different analytes within the same sample. The AQuora line of dyes span the fluorescent spectra and include classical dye equivalents (FITC and Texas Red®) and the brighter and more photostable cyanine dye equivalents. The AQuora dyes are engineered to incorporate the Quanta BioDesign dPEG® technology designed to improve solubility and reduce non-specific binding, all the while maintaining the photophysical properties of many commercially available fluorescent dyes and compatibility with most commonly used detection systems.  Choose from a wide range of target species including rabbit, mouse, rat, chicken, and human and adsorption profiles compatible with multiplexing using primary antibodies from a range of species.

Multiplexing in Fluorescent Western Blots using AQuora Labeled Secondary Antibodies

Fluoro Western Blot rev

Multiple labeling in a fluorescent western blot comparing our AQuora dye labeled antibodies to ThermoFisher commercial Alexa Fluor® Plus highly cross adsorbed antibodies. The gel was loaded with 35µg human thymus lysate, 35µg HeLa cell lysate, and 17.5µg HepG2 cell lysate. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane. The membrane was probed with Rabbit anti-Beta Tubulin (55kD) and Mouse anti-GAPDH (36kD) primary antibodies. Half of the membrane was probed with Goat Mouse IgG (H&L), AQuora® 550 min X Rabbit, Human, Bovine, Horse (AQ-30029) and Goat Rabbit IgG (H&L), AQuora® 650 min X Mouse, Human, Bovine, Horse (AQ-30055). The other half was probed with Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Highly Cross-Adsorbed Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor® Plus 555 and Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Highly Cross-Adsorbed Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor® Plus 647. The blot was imaged together on a fluorescent digital imaging system compatible with these wavelengths.
