AQ® Phosphate Buffered Saline Packs (PBS) are pouches of dry-blend powder that are each sufficient to make 500 mL. PBS is used in many biological applications and assays to maintain pH, dilute biological materials and as a wash solution for common immunostaining applications including western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.
Easy to Use: Simply empty contents of one foil envelope pack into a beaker, add ultrapure water and stir to dissolve. Once dissolved solution contains 10mM Sodium Phosphate, 1.8mM Potassium Phosphate, 150mM Sodium Chloride, 2.7mM Potassium Chloride, pH ~ 7.4 +/- 0.2.
