Fmoc-N-amido-dPEG®x-acid
Solid-phase synthesis is one of the most common techniques for peptide synthesis used today. Our Fmoc-N-amido-dPEG®x-acid products enable the easy incorporation of high-purity, single molecular weight, discrete PEG (dPEG®) linkers at either end or in the middle of a peptide chain. The Fmoc protecting group is stable to acid and inorganic base but removes easily with piperidine. The dPEG® linker increases the peptide’s hydrophilicity and hydrodynamic volume, and when incorporated into the middle of the chain, adds flexibility to the peptide.
