Fmoc-N-amido-dPEG®x-TFP ester
Our Fmoc-N-amido-dPEG®x-TFP ester products provide Fmoc-protected amino-dPEG® acids in five different lengths (4, 8, 12, 24, and 36), all activated with 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl (TFP) esters. TFP esters react with primary and secondary amines like NHS esters while offering better hydrolytic stability than NHS esters and, in some cases, faster reaction times. The amino-dPEG®-acid linkers increase the hydrophilicity (and, hence, water solubility) and hydrodynamic volumes of molecules to which they are conjugated. The increased hydrophilicity and hydrodynamic volume lead to longer in vivo half-lives of the conjugated biomolecules. The linker termini provide attachment points for small-molecule drugs or biomolecules when placed at the end of a peptide chain or biomolecule or on a small molecule. Moreover, the linkers impart flexibility to peptide chains when inserted in the middle of the chain.
Our Fmoc-N-amido-dPEG®x-TFP ester products are excellent in solid-phase peptide synthesis and for modifying a variety of molecules containing reactive amines. Try them today and discover the dPEG® difference in your research and development work.
